This workshop, lead by Duke Fisher, will focus on being at your best under the most difficult of circumstances. This workshop presents techniques to manage conflict in collaborative and productive ways, even when tempers are flying. You will learn to listen beyond threats and demands to get to the solutions that work for all involved.

Duke uses a blend of experiential learning exercises, theatre/film and often irreverent humor to “make it real” and focus on usable skills. Duke has a reputation for doing whatever it takes to assist learning groups to have fun, take risks, acquire skills and learn from one another. Participants should be prepared for an intense experience based in action and come ready to not just listen or talk, but come ready to do

1. Learn to turn conflict into opportunity.
2. Learn communication techniques that lead to collaboration instead of “clobberation.”
3. Learn techniques for turning anger into energy for responding creatively to conflict.

Duke Fisher is a renowned mediator and trainer who has been exploring the cutting edge of Conflict Management and Mediation for the last 15 years. He currently is the lead trainer and co-founder of Learning Laboratories, an educational training and consulting business out of Upstate New York.
